Salmon Salad
Ingredients (serves 2) 1 box of arugula salad 1 box of ice plant 1 salmon fillet 1/2 box of cherry tomatoes 1 lemon 100g pine nuts 1 tablespoon of olive oil 1 egg Italian herbs seasoning (to taste) Black pepper (to taste) Salt (to taste) Steps 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. 2. Place the salmon fillet skin-side down and immediately reduced to low heat and cook for 2 minutes. 3. Season the salmon fillet with salt, black pepper, and Italian herbs seasoning. 4. Flip the salmon and cook for another 2 minutes. 5. Prepare a salad bowl and place the arugula, followed by the ice plant. 6. Slice the cherry tomatoes into halves and place them in the salad bowl 7. Slice the lemon and place them into the salad bowl 8. Remove the salmon from heat and place it into the salad bowl 9. With the remaining oil from cooking the salmon, place in the pine nuts and toast then till they turn slightly brown. 10. Remove the pine nuts from heat and drizzle them over the salmon and salad. 11. Enjoy!

Oven Roasted Potatoes
Ingredients (serves 2) 6 small potatoes 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon garlic power 3 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, basil etc.) 1/2 teaspoon paprika salt to taste black pepper to taste Steps 1. Wash potatoes and cut into bite-sized cubes. 2. Soak in cold water about 15min to 1 hour. Drain and dry potatoes. 3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. 4. Toss potatoes, olive oil, herbs, seasonings. 5. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 min until browned and tender.

Sauteed Spinach Mushroom
Ingredients (serves 2) 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 small onion chopped 1 cup chopped portabello mushrooms 3 cloves minced garlic 1 tomato chopped 1 pack of baby spinach salt to taste black pepper to taste 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese (optional) Steps 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. 2. Add onion and saute until soft (3-5 min) 3. Add mushrooms and saute for 4-5 min. 4. Add garlic and saute for 1 min. 5. Add tomato and cook for 1-2 min. 6. Remove from heat. 7. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. 8. Add spinach, salt, and pepper. 9. Cook and toss spinach until it begins to wilt (1-2 min). 10. Add onion mixture and mix well. 11. Toss and cook until spinach looks good. 11. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese to serve.

Prawn Aglio Olio
Ingredients (serves 2) 2 portions of pasta 10 cloves of garlic chilli flakes salt black pepper lemon juice parmesan cheese (optional) chopped parsley (optional) Steps 1. Prepare a pot of water and generously salt the water. Bring it to a boil. 2. Put the pasta in and cook until al dente (around 10-11 min). 3. Drain the pasta and leave 1 cup of pasta cooking water. 4. Pat the shrimps dry with paper towels to ensure they are browned when cooking. 5. Add a few tablespoons of olive oil to a pan. Heat it. 6. Add the minced garlic and chilli flakes. Fry till it starts to turn golden. 7. Add shrimp, salt, pepper, and lemon juice till the shrimps are cooked. 8. Add in the pasta and chopped parsley and stir. Add in some splashes of pasta cooking water to maintain the wetness. 9. Remove from heat and toss till everything is well combined. 10. Serve.

Japanese Beef Rice Bowl
Ingredients (serves 2) 250-350g beef slices 1 onion (sliced) 2 tablespoons light soy sauce 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce 1 tablespoon oyster sauce 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon corn starch 1/2 cup water 2 eggs Steps Beef Slices 1. Prepare a bowl of boiling water. Add in the raw beef slices and fish them out when they turn colour. 2. Prepare the sauce mixture: light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, corn starch, water. 3. Slice the onion. Heat oil in the pan and add in the onions. Stir till the onions are fragrant and soft. 4. Add in the beef slices and stir. 5. Add in the sauce and mix well. 6. Remove from heat and place the beef slices onto the rice. Onsen Egg 1. Place egg in a container and add boiling water till the egg is completely submerged. 2. Remove the egg gently at the 10 mins mark. Crack the egg into a separate bowl and place it gently above the beef rice bowl.
